Västerås Castle, Castle 1, Västerås. Västerås Castle was one of Gustav Vasa's favorite castles. Here were held the famous parliaments that made Sweden Protestant and a hereditary realm. Today the castle houses a mini-exhibition, a restaurant and a café, as well as some of the city's most beautiful meeting and event venues. In the evening
