These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Restauranger platform ("Service") operated by RiseRank AB ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Restauranger is a restaurant discovery platform that helps users find, explore, and review restaurants across Sweden. The Service is available at restauranger.se and as a mobile application.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Restauranger. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion, with or without prior notice.
You may submit reviews, ratings, and other content ("User Content") on the platform. By submitting User Content, you grant RiseRank AB a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, adapt, distribute and otherwise use that content in connection with the platform, for promotional and public relations purposes, and in aggregated or derivative products. This licence survives the deletion of your account.

All content, design, and functionality of Restauranger (excluding User Content) is the property of RiseRank AB and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google, Meta (Facebook), and Apple for authentication purposes. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service and privacy policies.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that restaurant information will always be accurate, complete or up to date. Restaurant data may originate from third-party sources or user-generated reviews; RiseRank AB does not verify and accepts no responsibility for such content. Reviews and ratings reflect the opinions of individual users and do not represent the views of RiseRank AB.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RiseRank AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, foreseeable or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. RiseRank AB's aggregate liability to you for direct damages shall not exceed SEK 500, or the amount you have actually paid to RiseRank AB in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is higher. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable mandatory law, including the statutory rights of consumers under Swedish law or European Union consumer protection legislation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes between us and business users shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden. If you are a consumer habitually resident in a European Union member state, you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your country of habitual residence, and you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions under the law of that country.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RiseRank AB from and against damages arising out of or relating to (a) your User Content, (b) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
RiseRank AB reserves the right to modify, restrict, suspend or permanently discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time without prior notice. RiseRank AB is not liable for any loss or damage arising from such actions. We will endeavour to notify users of planned downtime but cannot guarantee continuous availability.
We will only send you marketing emails if you have given your explicit prior consent. You may give consent by ticking the optional opt-in box when creating your account, or at any time through your account settings. You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or through your account settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal. Service-related communications (such as transaction notifications and account security emails) are not marketing communications and are sent on the basis of contract performance or legitimate interests.
These Terms are published in Swedish and English. The Swedish version is the legally binding version. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the two versions, the Swedish version shall prevail.
